How do I book a private event at The Essential?

Where can I park?
Street Parking in front of the restaurant is the closest option for now. There is plenty of parking in the lot at 23rd Street and Morris Ave.

Do you have a private dining room?
We don’t have a private dining room but the front section of the restaurant is available as a ‘partial rental’ for up to 25 guests to dine together.

Can I bring decorations?
You may bring anything that doesn’t require hanging on the walls. Please no glitter or confetti

How is the check handled?
One check will be presented, you may spread it among as many cards as you want.

How is tipping handled?
a 25% gratuity will automatically be applied to the check

Is a deposit required?
Yes:
Partial Rental — $100 that will be applied to your check at the end
Full buyout — 50% of the event total that will be applied to your check at the end

Do you have a TV or projector?
We do not

Can we have a customized menu?
Partial buyouts will be given our regular seasonal menu
Full buyouts have the option of ordering from our regular menu or a unique menu. Custom cocktails are also available upon request.
